The log cabin mini is now a flimsy. I actually stuck with it. I auditioned a couple of fabrics for the border but decided on this one.
I really like the way this turned out.....
And, here is my CW Reproduction drawer still stuffed. I think I could get another 3 or 4 mini quilts out of this drawer....what do you think.
And this is how I got through the evening sewing....after 5:00 p.m. coffee. I didn't make it as strong and added lots of cream and sugar. Almost as good as dessert!!!! Don't you just love my coffee cup??? My sweet Older Daughter bought it for me for Christmas. And, I did love the moment. *wink*
Happy Quilting!!!!!!

I love that quilt! Now I know what I am going to do with my Repro scraps.
Happy New Year!
Paula, I just love your log cabin and your spider web quilts. It is great to have your very own mug, isn't it. Happy New Year to you. Cindy F.
Great choice for the border. I love your log cabin mini! Those scraps never seem to diminish. lol
Wonderful - I do love a log cabin quilt!
I love it, Paula! The log cabin block is the first block I ever learned, so it remains my favorite. You are so productive, having the idea one day and having a top made a day (or two) later!
Love the log cabin mini quilt in civil war prints. What is a FLIMSY? Betty Lou
ohiostar5, a flimsy is a quilt top. It hasn't been quilted yet, so it's still flimsy!!!
Absolutely beautiful! I'm a beginning quilter, so using a paper template sounds like a grand idea. What a great way to use up the scraps.
Love your new flimsy... Log Cabin ... lovely pattern..:o)
