Please pray......

for our friends, who live about 20 miles northwest of us (as the crow flies). They lost everything they own in a Texas wildfire. They have a large family of 9 children.... Two different churches are collecting items, gift cards and cash for the family. If you are interested, I can pass on the information.

And, today, we got word from two more families that they are evacuating as I write this.

Things here in Texas are so very dry and there are dozens of fires burning across the state.

Here is a map of the current wildfires in Texas.....

Pics of area fires.....

We are all praying for rain......just enough to put out the fires. We can't even remember the last time we had a good soaking rain.

This year is wild everywhere. Praying for Texas and other dry states down south. Wish we could send our rain to you.

It is so dry all over the state of Texas and the wind adds to the fire danger. Pray for rain. It has been a wild weather year all over the country.

Sending lots of prayers! We have a couple of huge fires here in AZ, too. Very dry conditions, too.

Between the heat and the drought all of us Texans are miserable this year. Hopefully people will take the fireworks ban seriously and not set more of the state on fire.

I clicked on one of the links and found out there are 3 new fires near my hometown, San Angelo. I know so many that have been affected by these fires all over the state. I wish I could send the rain we keep getting here. Texas needs it, we don't. I'm praying, still.
