You guessed it!

Once you saw the book, you knew! I suppose many of us own this one! Who'd a thunk it? There are a lot of scrap quilt lover's out there, aren't there?

Yesterday and this morning, I've been working on the hourglass blocks for this lovely quilt. Lots of fun. I wasn't looking forward to making them. I think I thought they would go too slowly. But, it looks like the nine patches were slower!

I can't believe that after all those years of talking about wanting to make this quilt, I'm finally doing it. I'm still undecided about the border, but I'll think about that tomorrow! (AKA Scarlett!)

I have a tendency to take a quilt I like and make it bigger....hence, the Bargello that went Zig Zag, but not this time. I get tired of looking at the same fabrics and so this time, I've decided, I will make the quilt the size it is in the book, 62 inches square. And I think I will use it on my table.....if I ever get it quilted! LOL

I know me! Happy Quilting!

I don't own that book, but boy do I want to go get it now! That is going to be a beautiful quilt, I'm looking foreward to seeing it come together. I am a huge scrap quilt fan, guess you can tell by looking at my avatar :cD

Wanted to thank you for stopping by my blog, too. After reading through some of your older posts I am going to borrow the idea of using 10 1/2 inch squares to make up backings for some of my quilts. What a great way to use up more scraps!

Paula,
I just found your blog. So far I have only read one page, but loved it. I really loved the fabrics you bought on Valentine's Day. Also love your quilts and stash. Keep up the good work. I am adding you to my favorites.
