Stewpot asked: Do you know how many fabrics are represented? So, I counted.
Exactly 250! And the count will rise, when someday, I add the scrappy
10 1/2 inch square backing and the scrappy binding!!
Yippee! It's done! I was so tempted to post a picture yesterday, but I controlled myself and waited until this morning. Taking a picture of this quilt was a hoot. First, I had Dear Younger Son and Dear Younger Daughter hold it up in the dining area. The two foot difference in their height made that just plain funny, even with Younger Daughter Standing in a chair. Then, I kept getting the table, with folded laundry all over it, in the picture. Still didn't look good. So, Dear Mother and Dear Son took the quilt outside and Dear Mother stood in a chair! That was too funny!
So, here you go, the Bargello that went Zig Zag! It measures 78x 98 inches! A nice BIG quilt!
Happy Quilting!

The quilt is absolutely gorgeous!! One of the prettiest scrap quilts I have seen. I have never attempted a Bargello, are they hard?
I can see you all trying to take a pic, too funny!!! I am glad that no one fell off of the chairs. hehe
Maybe you should put a caption on the picture, No one was injured in the making or picture taking of this quilt! lol
Looks great *s* Isn't funny how photography becomes comedy of errors sometimes.
The quilt is GREAT! I can see the comedy, I wish I could have been there. TOO FUNNY!

Do you know how many different fabrics are represented in the quilt? It is wunderbar! Reminds me of mountains and that old song, one step at a time.... and/or running with patience the race that is set before us.
Oh it is wonderful! I'm just loving how all these bargello's turned out!
Your Zig Zag quilt top looks wonderful! I love scrappy quilts. The more fabrics the better as far as I am concerned.
