OC Top Completed!!!

Yesterday, I spent the day with my sister and her sweet baby, so no sewing. But this morning, I woke up and got started on finishing up Orange Crush. So, by 2:00 this afternoon, I had sewn together the last seam in the top, cut, pressed and sewn on the borders!!!!

Yippee!!!! It's done!!!!

I really like it. There are some flaws in this quilt, but it's my own version! Thanks so much for the encouragement to keep sewing. I'm so glad I did. I don't know when it will get quilted, but it can wait in the closet with the others and make friends....I'm sure they will be there when I get to them someday!

Here are some close ups of the fabrics used in the borders from an older post. I used the small floral print for the outer border and the red for the inner border.

Happy Quilting!!!!!!!!!

Seems like you finished it just in time for autumn with its rich fall colors. It seems to have a nostalgic look to me. Tis very nice! Way to go Paula!

Hello Paula. This is a lovely quilt and the colors sure say Autumn! You sis a super job.
I want to thank you so much for your continued prayers for my niece Teresa. There are no words to express my appreciation.
I was told this morning that she has multiple blood clots in both lungs. Her doctors seem optimistic that the blood thinner will dissolve them but they have made so many mistakes with her that I don't have any confidence in them. I am putting all my trust in the lord.
my sincere thanks.
God Bless

It is absolutely beautiful! I love how it looks with the brown border. My colors in were similar to yours, but I didn't use brown in the border and looking at it I wish I would have! Way to go!
