My Dear Sister-in-Law introduced me to quilting in 1992 and taught me all the basics. I didn't really get totally involved in quilting until 1998. Quilting is my "happy place" in a sometimes crazy world. My Dear Husband introduced me to coffee in 1992 (1992 was a great year!) and we've enjoyed many "happy cups" together. Now, I enjoy coffee and quilts and when I can have them together.....that's the best of times, especially when shared with loved ones.

Oh! I love log cabin quilts. Haven't tried any yet but these are inspiring . . . so perhaps I shall soon.
Thanks for posting my quilt giveaway info in your sidebar. That earns you an extra 5 entries into the quilt giveaway contest! Keep in mind that the actual contest won't begin until my official 200th post -- should be in a couple of days. So, keep checking back.
I love your blog and plan on returning often!

Hello Paula and thanks for visiting me.
I have seen the Log Cabin Quilt pattern before but have never made it. I have made others though but have had other interests taking up my time lately.
I do enjoy seeing homemade quilts and certainly appreciate all the time and effort that goes into the making of them.
great blocks, how could you not LOVE this quilt when your done!
What size are the blocks?

If you decide you don't like this little beauty you can always send it on to me! *G* I think it is going to turn out great and that you will end up making another one for yourself!
As soon as I saw your photo the colours just sang out at me. Love those light-but-not-bright tones. The log cabin is one of my favourite blocks.
Beautiful! I made a pretty large log cabin quilted pillow once with paper piecing. Boy, that thing took me so long to make! I appreciate quilters...we sure do work hard! lol

These blocks are going to make a lovely quilt.
Those are darling. What size are they? Can't wait to see it finished.
That is going to be a very sweet little quilt when you're done, who wouldn't like it?
Gosh and would you feast your eyes on that excellent work, too? I'm serious.
Oh those blocks are wonderful. Love the colors that you are using.
Log cabin is a really satisfyimng pattern - if you get the colours right! Your choices are gorgeous.
Those are sweet little blocks. The log cabin block is a great way to check your accuracy too.
Oh! I'm so hooked on these myself. I just posted my pics today. I hope to make just a baby quilt. Yours will have such a design. This paper piecing is fun!
