Busy hands....

Today, I blanched the green beans, made some Maple Walnut Fudge, some Peppermint Thins and baked the cornbread for the cornbread dressing. I cleaned out the fridge and did some laundry, went over my menu again, double checked my recipes, wrapped some gifts and added a few items to a last minute grocery list.... all while listening to my tunes. I didn't get to the sewing room today, but had a great day, regardless.

Tomorrow, another friend is coming by for a visit.....so nice to have Christmas visits.

Lots of smiles and anticipation. I'll have all my kids home for Christmas and my mother in law will be joining us for dinner too.

How are your Christmas plans going?????

You've been busy and it sounds like you totally have it together!

Our plans are going pretty well. Everything is wrapped. I have 2 gifts that should be delivered today that have to be wrapped. Grocery shopping is done but there will not be any cooking until tomorrow as I have to work.

Have a safe and happy holiday!

I love green beans and from the looks of it I'd love those peppermint thins. Glad you were able to get lots of holiday preps done! Good for you, yeah!

You are a lot better organized than I. lol. I think my food plans will be okay...the weather, however, is another matter. We're praying that all travelers will arrive at their destinations safely. And we're praying the weatherman is totally overly concerned...and WRONG!

What a wonderful and productive day! Sounds like your Christmas week was so good...lots of friends and family and goodies! No matter that the quilting has to wait sometimes....
